Walking the aisles of this #usedbookstore at lunch the other day, I came across a paperback by Scott Bradfield. He made a big splash with his first novel, which I was very taken with for a minute, thirty five years ago. The cover was probably by Chip Kidd. On the first page in pencil is the price of this one: three dollars. I didn’t buy it but I did rehome it out of the Science Fiction section where it had only half-correctly been filed.
