The letter, dated July 16, was signed by officials from as far back as the Kennedy administration. Tomorrow, the Republican-controlled Senate Judiciary Committee will vote on whether to advance Bove's nomination to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Circuit. He will serve a lifetime appointment if confirmed.
