'[Musk] officially stepped down from his role...on Friday, May 30, leaving a track record dubious in both substance and style, and certainly far below the initial promises to cut "$1 trillion" in "waste" from US public spending.'

They cut "$175 billion" (dubious!) and then the B.B. Bill adds $3.3 trillion to the deficit. I'm not sure how MAGA people lie to themselves to square this circle.
