I read the David Segal NYT article about #UriGeller this weekend, in greater and greater disbelief as I read such simpering credulous rhetoric of an obvious charlatan.

I can’t even with this chamber pot drivel of a story in the #NYTimes fluffing #UriGeller.

The reporter (a Pulitzer laureate!) refuses to distinguish between entertainment and fraud. (Geller performed tricks but claimed to have paranormal powers.) It refuses even to state definitely that Geller cannot, in fact, bend metal with his mind (insistently imposing “if” clauses).

And besides conflating Geller’s grift with all magic acts, it seems to argue he is admirable for getting away with fraud.
