In a #networkscience class this semester specifically focused on urban contexts... only our second week in and we are discussing closeness/betweeness centrality, edge betweeness, and how all of this relates to transportation networks. Very broad, tough to grasp concepts for a beginner like me, but a real world example of edge weight regarding roads before and after floods made it all click for me. Can't wait for more!

    I hate the "evacuation routes" NIMBY talking point, how can we use tech to better utilize existing physical infrastructure?
