this is another very common example where I live, narrow bidirectional streets for all type of circulation, there are parked cars on both sides, the sidewalks are even small for pedestrians and the only way to pass is to go behind a car and without exceed them because a motorcyclist could pass by there at any time. 🚲😬

I'm not going to link to the website, because they want to charge attendees who register "early" (Before April 15th) $550 plus "fees and taxes". After April 15th, this cost goes up to, get this $775 +

The vast majority of people in this community who NEED Active, Alternative, Accessible, Affordable #VisionZero infrastructure and policies are EXACTLY the people who these "Advocates" have decided to price out of participating.

#Urbanism in general suffers from an egregious #Privlidge issue, but this is absolutely disgusting.

You can be guaranteed that these groups, these people, will be there shilling their books, their membership fees, their Patreon Pages, more than they do anything else

The campaign for better urbanism, more housing, improved processes etc. has really progressed in the last few years. It's much more in the public consciousness that we have a supply problem, and we should probably prioritise space for people over cars and private lawns.

My final word: I love the plan for the Jericho Lands, it can't come soon enough, be bold!
