I harvested some #Rowan berries from the neighbor's bush, and one thing I was not expecting was how spicy they would smell when cooked. Personally, I think it smells like a pot of chili with cumin, though this article gets into greater details about the component parts of the fragrance.

#ClimateDiary Anthropology students and my wonderful colleague Ricardo set up an #UrbanForaging club at #Goldsmiths. Today they did a stall with delicious #Elderflower champagne, Quince jelly, #Mahonia Jam, pickled wild garlic buds and #dandelion capers - all foraged in #London. Really wonderful, especially as it’s been a week of big setbacks for me with two #ClimateAction projects i’ve been trying at work. We will keep trying!
