The Fediverse is normally not the place to do this, but why not? I will begin with what I want in a #partner and/or a #friend and then explain a bit about myself. I am also considering this a second #introduction.
In a partner, I am seeking a #man over sixty who is well-educated, well-dressed (suit/tie), confident, and witty. I have no interest in bdsm, daddy-daughter things, rough play, etc. I simply adore the voices, bodies, experiences, and company of #seniors . I would prefer you to either live in or near #NewJersey or to be able to visit me frequently if you don't. No married men (or those in relationships), one-night stands, parents/caregivers, workaholics, or recreational drug users. I am open to both fun with no strings attached and a committed #relationship , but I must get to know you first. For #friends , I am a lot more lenient. You can be either a man or a #woman , should be over twenty-one, and should share at least some of my interests. You don't have to be #single or live in or near New Jersey, though if you do, we could become offline friends and go places together. No drugs or drama. Please note that I have no understanding of depression, anxiety, mental illness, low self-esteem, etc.

Some of my interests include studying #dandyism , nineteenth-century #English #grammar , #UpperReceivedPronunciation , the #Italian language, #BritishHistory , the #Regency, and #MS-DOS and its current varients. I like #coffee , #tea , #wine , #cooking , #ClassicLiterature , #nature, historical #documentaries , old BBC radio shows , #gardening , #cats , hot weather , relaxing in the pool, and playing #cards and #dice . I love #opera and #operetta , particularly singers from the 1940's and earlier. In #ClassicalMusic , I like Baroque through early Romantic. I prefer antique #menswear (usually #Edwardian ) and accessories. I love #wit , #wordplay , and dry #humour without vulgarity, though I do enjoy #adult fun. I am happily #childfree and am an #atheist . I also have no interest in politics or world affairs. I have been totally #blind since I was two months old, due to Retinopathy of Prematurity.
