(2026) used #nearinfraredspectroscopy to characterize a #rocky #exoplanet orbiting its host star within the #habitablezone. Planet #LHS1140b exhibits #helium #absorption in its atmosphere, a feature the authors attribute to a helium-dominated #upperatmosphericlayer.
