These old people allegedly still moaning about #ULEZ in #Upminster (which is within Greater #London) are likely being stubborn and petulant and holding on to old diesel #cars maybe out of spite (or even hoping Reform will scrap the ULEZ) - a 25 year old petrol car can be ULEZ compliant, and they could easily sell non compliant vehicles in Essex or Suffolk (particularly if they have automatic transmissions, folk want them out here).

They've also had /several years/ warning the zone was going to be expanded *and* a scrappage scheme..

Upminster Station, near to where I used to live, won an award in the Transport for London gardening competition.

Hopefully this is inspiration to make more areas of stations look more green.

I used to live in Upminster so it was interesting to read about a brief history of its railway station.

Of course, Upminster is at the "beginning" and not the "end" of the district line.

I've only been to Upminster Bridge once, more than 20 years ago, and it was in a most unglamorous state back then. About time for a bit of tarting up.
