Thanks for explaining.

Regardless, we designed an icon for Fediverse earlier today and would be interested to know you thoughts. The #disroot page where we stored the images requires JS but was the best way we could find to #uploadImages to the #clearnet via #Tor.

If you know a better host feel free to tell us.

As per other designs if you like it please toot the image as we can't #uploadImages, and files are deleted from the server in a few weeks.

As a Tor user we cannot #UploadImages.

If you are able to access the image, please upload it so others can more easily see it.

We've been forced into using text only on the #Fediverse. As a #Tor user we cannot #uploadImages, #uploadVideos nor #editToots or #deleteToots.

As limiting as that is, we don't mind. Its freeing in a way, as there's no temptation to produce images, which takes time. Even the rushed images that we published on #Failbook took time.

Having said we might be interested in joining the #onionRouter version of the Fediverse - in some capacity ;)

We use #Fedilab over #Tor. In the past whenever we tried to delete or even edit a post, it wouldn't work. Even cannot even #uploadImages like a profile pic.

We hope this changes.

We cannot, in good faith, push for a more widespread adoption of #Fediverse / #Mastodon if people in repressive countries (that kill #gay and #unfaithful people) are forced to use the #clearnet.

That would be negligent of us.
