    @simsus Das liegt auch an #Windows welches bis heute keinen brauchbaren #Paketmanager hat um z.B. #Updates und #Patches für Drittsoftware bereitzustellen...

    Dementsprechend muss jede Applikation nen eigenen #Updater integrieren, was schonmal sicherheitshechnisch shice ist.

    Hinzu kommt das #TechIlliterates jene #Updates abbrechen oder verweigern, weil #WindowsUpdates nunmal ne shice Experience sind!

    Anders als unter jeder #Linux - Distro kann mensch nicht einfach währenddessen weiterarbeiten!!

    I have discovered a bugbear with #Fedora34. With #KDE, it uses the #discover #updater and for some bizarre reason, that requires the system to restart even for #software that doesn’t need a system restart. That seems very wasteful of time. I think I’ll just use #dnf on the #CommandLine in future.
