“My Dream Job”

I worked on farms and factories,
Abused my back and arms and knees,
And saw old bodies broke with pain.
This made me want to use my brain
And not my brawn to make a living.
But mental stress is unforgiving,
And silence at a mindless task
With time to think is all I ask.
