Some people on the receiving end of this behaviour will accommodate such #demands, just to avoid the conflict -- but you should not be surprised, or offended, if you get a harsher response telling you to mind your own damn business.

It's similar for people demanding others add alt-text to images. I do it. Lots of people do. But the people who don't add alt text don't owe anybody anything. You demanding they spend their time doing something because you want it, not because they want to, is simply not reasonable behaviour.
