@lislegaard what they do to a lot of German artists beyond the mainstream is really really annoying. Even AI-crawling through YouTube and so on. If you signed at them, you have to register and pay for your own tracks you upload on the web. No exception, EVERY SINGLE sound you produce. So for me another case for #unplug #diday

Vor gut 1½Wochen hatte ich #grapheneos auf mein neues Pixel installiert und seit gut 5 Tage nutze ich es auch.
Große Probleme bereiten mir immer noch alte Daten wie z. B. Musik zu Übertragen. Mit
#syncthing hab ich es versucht und bin gescheiter, zuviele einstellungen bzw. fehlende Sprachkenntnisse. Geht es nicht einfacher z. B. per Kabel oder von mir aus auch (tagelang) per #bluetooth ?
P. S. Vorkenntnisse habe ich keine. Bitte in einfacher Sprache erklären.

Zwar schalte ich nicht erst jetzt mein Hirn ein, um das Konglomerat an Soft- und Hardware und Protokollen zu verstehen, aber das aktuelle Irgendlink-Hirn ist ein verdammter Spürhund geworden, der selbst Dinge erschnüffeln will, die er einst aus Bequemlichkeit gar nicht kennen wollte. Es ist nicht nicht anstrengend, ebenso wie es sich nicht nicht lohnt.

I am dealing with a number of minor gripes with various tech. The products themselves are great. The problems all relate to the user interface/customer support/data intrusion crap that is forced on top of the actual devices.
My mind drifted off to an alternate future where companies operating under the radar de-shittify these devices giving you access to the core features without the corporate overreach.
Then I realised I'm already in this future. My Tesla connects not to Tesla but to a guy in Jordan and only when I establish the connection.
My laptop is better now it's on Linux.
Just need to sort my headphones, dog tracker, phone, ebook reader, audio book provider, music provider, ah too many!
