Because that'll basically allow me to shove @landley 's #mkroot onto one 1440kB 3,5" FDD and get @OS1337 with basically no shimming of the #Linux Kernel and #toybox.

Also it's likely the least absurd and most realistic "sci-fi tech" that is code and not completely absurd fantasy by virtue of requiring tons of #Unobtanium...

@minkorrekt Und wäre das Element wahnsinnig selten, stellt sich die Frage, wieso ausgerechnet wir einen ganzen Asteroiden daraus im Sonnensystem haben, aber keine bisher bemerkte Menge auf der Erde.
Der Asteroid ist vermutlich aus dem Salz gemacht, was man zu der Idee zu sich nehmen muss.
Aber es wäre natürlich eine wahnsinnig coole Entdeckung, die Forschung in möglichen Fachgebieten anstossen würde.

@minkorrekt Würden wir, wenn ein super schweres, aber stabiles #unobtanium existierte, nicht erwarten, ab und zu auf “komische” #Spektrallinien zu stossen?
Oder gibt es einen Mechanismus, der die möglichen Energiezustände der Elektronen so “zusammenquetscht" dass man halt fast nichts sähe?
(Sorry, Physik-LK ist 30+ Jahre her :-) )

A year ago at work we ordered a bunch of RPI4B 8GB kits from CanaKit for ~$130/ea; it was #unobtanium then, so we had a backlog of a few months. But they're cool kits, and I want my own for home. I'll look at Canakit again to see what the lead time and price is. Thanks for the note!
