Today is syttende mai, May 17, the Norwegian National Day. Congratulations!
I remember this date from one May decades ago, when I participated a United Nations Military Observer Course UNMOC at Niinisalo Barracks, Finland. It was an international course with instructors and student officers from several countries. Also from Norway.
On May 17 evening there was a great party, organised by the Norwegian personnel. On May 18 at 0800 hours was Cooper test.
