2. Multiculturalism has been long history of enabling the peaceful existence of Jewish people. including the various culturally different Jewish people as well as other non-Jewish cultures. I have always found it worrying that Australia does not have interfaith protests and rallies as frequently as movements do on other continents.

In contrast, Australia seems to be ‘silos’ of communities, where it only occasionally makes statements of interfaith.

There is no physical and visible demonstrations. Neither is there any political interest in charismatic leadership.

So, as heartening as the most recent acts are… I’m left wondering whether this will be a ‘watershed moment’ or just a once off until the next tragedy.

My Op: on the Iran-Jewish attack allegation:

… Any antisemitism against Jewish diaspora only benefit’s Netanyahu’s narrative that Israel are defender of Jews.

If Iran are guilty of the alleged offences then Iran are idiots helping Netanyahu’s public relations.

The only justice; effective approach to bust the narrative is respect for universal human rights.
Violence against civilians, and other protected groups, only helps Netanyahu maintain his flawed justice.

The Murdoch family has a long bloody history dating back to League of Nations.

They were significant supporters of Billy Hughes racist propaganda that eventually led to the demise of Japan’s fledgling liberal democratic movement which was replaced with an Imperial Nationalist movement and ended the British Japan Alliance.

They were behind the support of Hansonism that spurred race hate towards Asian Australians

Again, stimulated more race hate following 9-11 and COVID-19.

All throughout, Murdoch owned papers questioned the purpose and legitimacy of ‘universal human rights’ and United Nations agencies.

… and now, they have the gall to claim to be supporters against antisemitism, when it’s their anti-UNHRD rhetoric that is spurring race hate?

Vandalism and War memorials, my thoughts so far:

Vandalism as an expression of protest is a controversial one, but one that hard to condemn 100%.

In terms of International human rights, we all have a ‘right to expression’, ‘right to protest’ ‘right to civil disobedience’ and as last resort ‘right to rebellion’, all with the intent of having rights respected for enduring peace. (UNDHR)

On the scale of things, ‘vandalism’ can broadly fall between ‘right to expression and rebellion’. ‘Vandalism’ in terms of graffiti, where there is no material damage, falls somewhere between ‘right to expression and civil disobedience’. In the sense that no person is threatened or harmed by the expression, it is effectively ‘peaceful’.

When watching ‘expressions’ and ‘protests’ as bystanders, we need to then reflect on ‘Why are people resorting to this form of expression’ ‘what is happening or not happening’ etc. How does the inconvenience of a traffic jam or cleaning up graffiti stand in comparison to the injustice that is being protested?
From the perspective of Palestinians and those sympathetic, what is happening in Gaza is a matter of ‘Present-Future’, whereas the Vietnam war is a matter of ‘past’. So what is more important: The deaths occurring now or the memorial of deaths of a distant past?

I question the effectiveness of ‘expressions’ targeting memorials. There are many different ways to use memorials as a backdrop of protest to amplify a message. But not everyone is blessed with the education and creative thought - and shouldn’t be looked down on because they aren’t as PR savvy as someone else, like myself.
In contrast, the statements by ‘caretakers’ for such memorials call to question the relevance of the memorials. Afterall, the purpose of Public memorials is to remember the past so mistakes are not repeated in the present-future.
We cried, expressed, protested and committed acts of civil disobedience about the injustices of the Vietnam war and swore ‘Never again’. Where do we stand on Gaza-Israel, while we provide material and morale support as a Nation-State? How can we condemn Palestinians for crying, expressing, protesting and committing acts of civil disobedience today?

Looks like the peace plans of #EuropeanUnion for Nagorno-Karabakh region with a peaceful dissolution of #RepublicOfArthsak and transition into #Azerbaijan becomes true.

So good that #UniversalHumanRights protects the 99.6% Armenian population from an Islamist military dictatorship. And #InternationalLaw protects us all.

And it is a Win-Win-Win situation. US is happy for Armenia dragged into the US camp. Europe is happy for peaceful end of an eternal conflict. And Azerbaijan is happy too.

Nothing to worry for a #EU fanboy.
