Gray is in custody & the charges are “directly connected with the actions of his son & allowing him to possess a weapon,” Hosey said.

At some point, Caldera said someone pounded on his classroom door & shouted "open up!" multiple times. When the knocking stopped, Caldera said he heard more gunshots & screams.
He said his class later evacuated to the football field.

Casualties were reported at #ApalacheeHighSchool in #Winder, #Georgia, on Wed morning, per #BarrowCounty Sheriff's Office.
One suspect is in custody, the sheriff's office said.
The incident is over & a local hospital is "treating multiple gunshot wounds.”
Details on the number of victims & their conditions were not officially released.
Winder is ~45 miles outside of #Atlanta.

The #Michigan Senate passed bills to create a new Extreme Risk Protection Order Act to keep #guns from people deemed a threat to themselves or others (aka #RedFlagLaws). The Senate also approved #legislation to require safe storage & suspend sales & use tax collection on #gunsafety devices. Bills to require #universalbackgroundchecks on all gun sales also passed. The House could take up the bills as soon as next week.
