So i watched Octopussy(1983) and first things first, what the fuck is that name like why. Anyways something really cool was the minijet in the beginning of the movie that was orignally planned for Moonraker but at the time it was too ambisios. The movie was lowkey so wackass with the island that exclusively only had women, the stupid telesaw gimmig one of the thugs had, the figth at the end where Octopussy's Circus fought Khan's security at his castle thingy(it kinda reminded me of the evil woman in Transporter 2) or how the meating place of the soviet higher ups in that marbel room was so unrealistic like theres no way they would have a room like that Also its goofy how Octopussy's Octopus did a alien move to one of the thugs. Overall this is one of the more wackass 007 movies and its still overshadowed by Moonraker(1979).

Today's Movie: Moonraker(1979)
Moonraker was the most expensive 007 movie at its release until The Living Dayligths and the highest grossing 007 movie until Goldeneye.
I was looking forward to watching it cause 007 in space? that cant be bad. Well the script wasnt that good but the sets where awesome AF.
Also the original Moonraker 007 novel was way more tame but that had to put it on meth cause in Star Wars they destroyed entire planets and if you didnt already realise Moonraker was the 007 franchise's responce to Star Wars. Also this was the first 007 movie where i actually watched some of the extra content (spesificly inside Moonraker).
Anyways since im really burned out heres just a bunch of points in the movie that are wackass:
The shuttle launching of the 747 making the jumbo jet explode
Theres no convoy protecting the shuttle
Why does the UK need a shuttle
Nobody was tracked the 747 with the shuttle on radar
Dufour running into the woods instead of driving the golf cart away before the dogs start chasing her
The scene where 007 literally kills 2 scientists for no reason
Jaws becomes brazillain pennywise
Jaws finds love
The MI6 HQ in brazil is apparently a monestary
Jaws survives falling down Iguazu Falls
All of Drax's shuttles are called Moonraker
Nobody notices that the pilots of Moonraker 6 are not the atcual pilots
They are only in space for a 4th of the movie
The scenes with no gravity the actors just move slowly
Drax's spacestation jams the radar which is stupid because if you Jam the radar everyone knows the location of the jammer and nobody apparently saw the spacestation orbiting the earth visually
Jaws becomming a good guy
Unclear if Jaws and his girlfriend survive
Drax running to a airlock for some reason like there was no escape pod there
Jaws and his girlfriend enjoying Bombadier59 or whatever its called in the main room on the spacestation that is supposed to be complete chaos with air leaking out and explosions and shit.
The spacestation having way too much fire for a explosion in space
James Bond missing the last probe containing the neurotoxin multiple times
somethign relevant?:
Imagine if boundary succeded as a game and they had a Moonraker dlc or event or something

This game deserves a better review but im sooo burned out rn. Its a good movie id say the script is on par with the last 007 movie but what really makes my rating better is the entire set.

So I watched The Spy Who Loved Me(1977). Its starts out of a submarine scene(haha Das Boot reference) and a few scenes later we see 007 escaping KGB agents in the mountains of austria to some beegees style 007 theme. The credit thingy in the beginning was wackass tho, it lowkey just got worse and worse since live and let die. Anyways some cool things in this movie: this is the first movie that has a tracked matte painting, the sea base was pretty cool and the fight scene in the tanker was just massive. Now to the wackass shit: the fight scene where 007 fights Sandor that was lame af or the was Jaws kills his victims in some vampire twilight type shit way or how Jaws literally can just teleport around like wtf, he literally drove of a hill with a motorcycle and in the next scene hes back in a car or that wierd ass dialog when James Bond was at the pyramid or how the russain agent is called Tripple X(sus) or how at the end they said the next 007 movie was For Your Eyes Only but then Star Wars happend so they did Moonraker instead. Also this movie feels more like a comedy especially the music at the end makes it feel like a joke. Other stuff: the submarine car reminded me of that one scene from Despicable Me and they made a lawrence of arabia reference by playing the theme of the 1962 movie when he was pretty much dressed like him and riding a camel. Overall its a sligthly better then the last 007 movie.

Todays Movie: The Man with the Golden Gun(1974). First of all the intro thingy where they used to roll credits backthen, that was wackass thought the theme was better then with the previus movie. Another thing that i didnt really like was the addition of "Down Syndrome Sherif" in two scenes. Also who tf goes to bangkok to look at american cars and why the hell does amc make cars. Though the boat chase that was one theese Vietnamese race boats and the follwing car chase was cool where James Bond does some evel knievel type shit. Youd think someone would get rid of it at some point but no just leave it there its not like thrill seakers exsisit. Another thing that happens on Scaramanga#s boat is that when the island blows up and Goodnight and James Bond want to have some "fun" the little midgets attacks them, that shit was lowkey so predictable and what does James Bond do with him? Put him in a basket and hoist him up the main mast. LIKE LMAO. Anyways rather eh movie but theres still a very very long way down to trash.

Todays Movie: The Man with the Golden Gun(1974). First of all the intro thingy where they used to roll credits backthen, that was wackass thought the theme was better then with the previus movie. Another thing that i didnt really like was the addition of "Down Syndrome Sherif" in two scenes. Also who tf goes to bangkok to look at american cars and why the hell does amc make cars. Though the boat chase that was one theese Vietnamese race boats and the follwing car chase was cool where James Bond does some evel knievel type shit. So I watched Live and Let Die(1973) and well it was rather dissapointing. The movie contains allot of voodoo bullshit and magic future prediction with cards🤦🏻‍♂️. Also I find it rather unrealistic that a small caribean nation has engouth money at all for the ammount of equipment they had. Yes, i know they where in the drug trade but they have been stockpiling theyer opiods for a while so they can just give it all out for free to crash the market and compete with the cia making it rather questionable that they had the funds for all that. And yes i know its wackass complaining about realism in a 007 movie but well i dont care. Anyways the boat chase scene was cool though the sherif who might aswell have down syndrome was annoying. Also for some reason the troopers though they could block a bunch of speedboats with some simple non powered boats. Also somethign wackass is why they assasinated the uk un guy but whats even more wackass is the reaction or wel lack of when he slumps on the table. Honestly the only really good part of the movie was the boat chase. Atleast the explosions on the opiods field where actual explosions and not crappy effects like in the last movie. Something that was the same as the last movie is the abrupt cut to the last act where "Tee Hee"(stupid name lmao) tries to kill James Bond. Speaking of "Tee Hee", he had a mechanical arm, it was executed rather well though most scenes was just the hand. In the first scene where we see him he bends James Bonds gun which is wackass cause he would still need raw strength to do it cause he was still holding it in place with his other blood and flesch hand. Finally id like to add that the plott twist that Mr.Big and the president of that island nation being the same person was quite surprising. Overall a rather weak installment compared to its peers though the boat chase scene was fire.
