Als Soldat war er damals für die Überwachung von Palästinensern zuständig. Die Parallele zu dem ostdeutschen #Stasi-Mitarbeiter, der im Film einen Künstler überwacht, lässt ihn nicht los. „Wir haben das Gleiche getan.“ 2014 veröffentlichte Kenan mit 42 anderen Soldaten der 8200-Einheit einen offenen Brief. Darin kündigten sie den Dienst, weil ihre Arbeit „politische Verfolgung und die Spaltung der palästinensischen Gesellschaft“ zur Folge habe.“
Das ist ein dolles Ding. Beeindruckend, wenn man mit einem Kunstwerk eine solche Wirkung erziehlt.
Ich habe den Film auch gesehen und ihn nicht in negativer Erinnerung. Habe mit anderen drüber gesprochen, die ihn für ein verharmlosendes Märchen halten. Ich glaube, ich muss ihn nochmal sehen.

In the early days, it was mostly porn that was posted on the app, now they have turned into Antisemitism, same kind of profiles, but unfortunately the moderators don't stop, ban or block them

Axonius was founded by former spies in Israel’s Unit 8200 and its software, which allows an operator ‘visibility and control over all types and number of devices,’ collects and analyses the digital data of millions of US federal employees.The stated aim of the Axonius platform is to centralise IT tools to identity and fix security breaches. As a product of Israeli intelligence, however, the scale of Axonius’s use across the US government raises serious questions.
