In the lead up to #ALTA2024 in December at @ANUResearch, we're featuring interesting papers and talks from #ALTA2023

In this paper, Steven Nguyen at #UniMelb, Daniel Beck at #RMIT and Katja Hölttä-Otto also of #UniMelb work on the novel task of cognitive #empathy.

Using paired sentences from #design interviews and #NLP techniques, they show similarity of vectors from an #LLM is a promising approach in this space.
