It has once again been a while since I last posted. I'm heading into the final stretch of trimester 3, with a residential school in two weeks. With it comes a mix of anticipation and nerves. I've found myself spending time on Livewire again, which has felt great in the midst of study pressures. Health-wise, I’ve had some solid wins after receiving my bloods back this last week. My blood sugars are down from 9 to 6, with cholesterol sitting at 4.2. This is a sign that the work is paying off. Musically, I’ve been on a break from choir but not sure when rehearsals resume. We are starting the year fresh with a new music director and I'm not sure when he starts. One step at a time as things are moving forward.

I should have listened to others about writing on the Mac with VoiceOver and a Braille display. Microsoft Word is sluggish, adds random characters, and makes uni work a nightmare. IA Writer was the most stable of the alternatives but still sluggish, although it didn’t insert random characters. On macOS I couldn’t find a way to convert from Markdown to Word format like I can on iOS. Nisus Writer was also better than Word but still had quirks. I have to work in a document that contains all the questions, and IA Writer did a great job of converting it to Markdown. I’m now thinking of trading the Mac in for an iPad, which I know works well with Markdown and Word conversion. I love the Mac in other respects, but this one issue is a deal breaker. I’m also having problems browsing the web using Braille. I want to use the rotor like on iOS, but it won’t work at all. Okay I feel I've told this story before, but new account and all, so I'll try to catch you up to date.
I started my first year at #University. And per #school policy first years have to live in the #dorms. I'm in one of the #GirlsOnly dorms. Before classes started my proposed #roommate made some very unkind comments about me being a #lesbian, in front of myself, the #RA and a couple of #faculty members. And she was unceremoniously told she was not welcome at the university. The student they found to replace her is male, so I ended up without a roomie, which since I suffer from #chronic #migraines is a nice thing.
Last week was #Frosh week, where all the first years have to do stuff for #charity. So the girls in my dorm did a car wash. Since it was super hot last week, most of us work ,#bikini tops and short #shorts. I made some good friends among them, Suse and Rose who share the room next to mine and Lisa for the 2nd floor. I like all the girls, but we four became really close already.
Suse and I even slept together after a mixer in the dorm's common room, we woke up #naked together on the couch. Since then she's woken me up or vice versa several times by licking each other's #pussies.
