@timixretroplays @nuintari #UnihertzTitan. Though, it really needs a Rev.2 with an updated chipset, it is a keyboard phone with a really good rip off of the passport keyboard.
And rugged. And repairable, comes apart pretty easy.
@kAlvaro @stux you can have that and a headphone jack with the Sony #Xperia. I really enjoyed also the #UnihertzTitan, really would love to see that with updated internals.
To the poll, I'd really rather my phones didn't try to be predictive or do anything clever on it's own. Do not need a whack of microprofiling and logging eating up cycles, chewing through batteries, and then getting uploaded to a half dozen data brokers in the 'cloud'. Things labelled AI are just more of the same.
Well, a year on, and for a couple reasons it's time to part ways with the #UnihertzTitan ... and welcome a #Sony #xperia1v
In the process of rooting & switching my phone from a Samsung S9+ to ...this! Unihertz Titan, essentially a BB Passport clone(ish). I did indeed use a Passport for quite some time, until damaged by water. Shouldn't be a problem with this one (IP67). Nice to have a keyboard again.

I had my eye on the Astro Slide (what a name) but opted for the less expensive #UnihertzTitan which has been my daily driver for the past few weeks. I do love the hardware keyboard. I don't like that it runs Android by default (like Planet Computer's hardware.) I'm still on the fence about going back to a smartphone, but I try to lock it down where I can (side load apps, chroot jails, firewalls, no login to google, etc.)
@lj_writes there's also the #Unihertz #Titan #phone at about 340 USD, but that's more of a #Blackberry-like portrait-oriented #keyboardPhone, with a rather limited #keyboard layout, and I would definitely end up missing the ctrl, alt, esc, and super keys.

@keithzg I'd never heard of #Unihertz before, and while their #JellyPro doesn't really look interesting to me, their latest #Kickstarted product, the #UnihertzTitan, does look quite interesting:

Especially since I do kinda miss having a #QWERTY #keyboard on my phone. Definitely something I should follow, so I'll see if I can find it on #Kimovil to add to a #phone #wishlist. :)
