Very few games scratch that Fire Emblem itch, but Unicorn Overlord totally does, even tho' its mechanics are vastly different.
Sadly, it's not on PC/Steam, but it's available on PS5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch 2 for example.
That being said, the Fire Emblem franchise hasn't been on any other platforms than Nintendo ones.

Finished with Unicorn Overlord. I enjoyed it, but it's a bit too long for its own good. Really liked the war setting and all the characters, and I can only dream of what Vanillaware could do with the Suikoden formula.

Last night I finished the main campaign of #UnicornOverlord. There was mention of a last dungeon for post game that I might check out.
I enjoyed the game quite a bit. Not in a rush for an immediate replay but thatโs ok. Some games are nice when they have a definitive end point.Perhaps #Metaphor will be next as I heard a lot of good things. I also have Wasteland 3 or Persona 3 Reload

By the map completion I think Iโll be finishing #UnicornOverlord soon~ itโs been a fun experience. Itโs certainly annoying just trying to get the last bit of honour needed to max out all my armies but thatโs a minor thing.
