Friends: hey this room is missing coving, it will look nice!
YouTubers: never contour coving, use filling!
Me: the wall is a “V” and the ceiling is a “U” at a 10 degree angle 🤬🤬🤬 (wrt the images, in hindsight, I should have cut the coving in half and done it on that wall in two sections. Probably would have been much easier! Oh well 20/20! #diy #UnfinishedProject

When you have a track saw that can do bevel cuts and a mitre saw that can also do bevel cuts, trying to cut skirting boards with a handsaw and 45 degree jig is stupid! Takes too much effort and not as accurate! With that realisation and quiet satisfaction of all the progress made today time to call it a night! #diy #unfinishedproject
