This week's #TuneTuesday theme is #UnexpectedWhiplash - songs that start one way and then change. There are so many great ones people are mentioning.
The first one that came to mind for me is Helmet's 'Wilma's Rainbow' from their 1994 record Betty. It's the intro track too, it start everything off.. Page is doing this kinda simple, chill guitar thing first, a couple times, and then the guitar, bass, and drums hit you full on in the fucking FACE. And then at the end, after the most insane solo you've ever heard, it has a false ending. Perfection. And then the REST of the record. 🤯

Tune Tuesday's theme is Unexpected Whiplash.
Going with ITZY "Dalla Dalla", because it does a few shifts between different beats/sounds. I remember a lot of people being critical when it first dropped. To me, it's always been a banger and their best song to date.

Happy #TuneTuesday! This week's theme is #UnexpectedWhiplash, and genre change-ups are always so much fun.
So, because I was listening to him earlier today, my pick has to be TEN, from his Japan release last year.
Airy vocals and piano vibes with angel wings, building to half-time hip-hop beats, dropping to dirty neurofunk with fiery visuals, and back again. Love!
I can't wait to see what he does next, and in which language!

Well, the first one comes into my mind is "Mordecai" by Between The Buried And Me
Starts off as a deathcore song (indeed, a very technical one), melts into a gentle jazzy semi-acoustic mood and ends with an alternative metal crescendo.
And since is considered a progressive metalcore song, it can fit well into #ProgTuesday , by @DXMacGuffin
