I never thought I would play a team sport, yet this weekend I found myself representing #Montreal in an #UnderwaterRugby tournament in #Timmins

I have a little "mood tracker" that I've been using since I started doing sports, it's starting to confirm a hunch I had.
#UnderwaterRugby leaves you feeling great, and the feeling stays with you.
It's kind of that feeling going home from a spa twice a week, but throw in a huge workout too.
It's now reliable enough that I try to time shitty for Wednesdays because Rugby will smooth it over.

Blew my second set of fins I’ve blown playing #UnderwaterRugby last night.
By trying to avoid paying $200 for the good ones I’ve spent the same amount on the cheap ones.

I'd never have guessed that #DragonBoating would leave me more sore than #UnderwaterRugby
It makes me think it's a good complimentary exercise, apparently I'm not using my... deltoids and... err... teres minor... whatever the fuck that is.

@c_9 yeah. #UnderwaterRugby has a second session which happens to be on the same night. I was going to switch over to that, but maybe I should just do it now.
Feels a little sad though, it’d be a fun time if the intense people chilled out or joined an intermediate league. They’ve created the exact situation that kept me away from sport my whole life. “I’ll be bad, let down the team and make people angry”

I turns out that #Columbia is really into #UnderwaterRugby and are the core of the clubs in #Montreal and #Toronto

I'm a postdoc at #INRAE (Toulouse, France), veterinarian with a background in psychosocial intervention. I'm currently studying psychosocial determinants affecting #antibiotic #prescription in poultry farms 🐔 , but I have also studied these factors in #biosecurity #implementation in dairy cattle farms 🐮 .
