Today I saw one of the weirdest and coolest sea slugs I've ever seen and it was in New Hampshire. This is Elysia chlorotica, a slug that eats algae and steals its chloroplasts to use for photosynthesis. Yes, this slug is solar powered!

My mom wanted to know what it looks like when I'm diving and taking photos. My mate was kind enough to indulge. I bashed together a 60 second clip for my mom, you're welcome to watch it even if you're not my mom.
This was at Blue Heron Bridge in Florida USA, so there aren't any pretty corals or tons of fish, but there's a glimpse of a nurse shark and a spotted eagle ray.
P.S. I was only aware of the first clip, no idea my mate was shooting a documentary of my diving form 😆
