This month I've got a powerful new #StreamDeck plugin for #Mac automation, a great update to my #Alfred workflow for #KeyboardMaestro, something geeky on #SuccessFactors #Learning, and a new #3DPrint for “#Underware”, the under desk cable management system based on for #Multiboard.

  2. 🆕 post: Bullets #20 | I've got a job and a refactored battlestation

    🔗 lubieniebieski.pl/bullets/20/

I'm back to being an engineer, so I refactored my battlestation. I also have some thoughts after getting back to work after a long break.

Excellent type design for a specific purpose. Allowing for added complexity in the layers of information, while still (just!) maintaining coherence in the feel of the overall page. I can picture this being used in other special purpose books, eg academic textbooks.

To use screws, you can either screw into the small corner holes or use a two-part assembly to put a small hole into a big hole (as shown in the previous post's 2nd photo).

  5. I spent too long figuring out Underware 2.0's myriad connection mechanisms. I decided on these hex screws and mating parts. And then I designed a special wrench for the screws, which is now on Printables. How's your rabbit hole going?

  6. I'm jumping into the Underware rabbit hole. I printed some samples so I could decide which shades go together-- I decided to try a monochrome color scheme this time.

I guess this starts a build thread.

  7. @ruxotves @I

Not sure who else is makerish - are you guys acquainted with Underware?

The (somewhat come-and-get-me) lady who is promoting it has a video on the new version - youtube.com/watch?v=W33lTKwrfC.

Well worth watching, whether you like 3D-printed cable management systems and/or prominent nipples.

And, yes - this is the vein of ALL of her videos. Never have 3D printing had such smooth curves.
