Excellent type design for a specific purpose. Allowing for added complexity in the layers of information, while still (just!) maintaining coherence in the feel of the overall page. I can picture this being used in other special purpose books, eg academic textbooks.

My free monthly update for July is live!
This month I've got a powerful new #StreamDeck plugin for #Mac automation, a great update to my #Alfred workflow for #KeyboardMaestro, something geeky on #SuccessFactors #Learning, and a new #3DPrint for “#Underware”, the under desk cable management system based on for #Multiboard.
If you follow me on Buy Me A Coffee (for free, no coffee required), you can get my monthly update as an email straight to your inbox. Tell a friend!

🆕 post: Bullets #20 | I've got a job and a refactored battlestation
🔗 https://lubieniebieski.pl/bullets/20/
I'm back to being an engineer, so I refactored my battlestation. I also have some thoughts after getting back to work after a long break.

This hex screw is not the default choice for fasteners. The default is a snap connector. It's easier to use because you can route the channels after the base plate is screwed down (up?) to the desk. But in my experimentation the snaps weakened after several snap/unsnap cycles.
To use screws, you can either screw into the small corner holes or use a two-part assembly to put a small hole into a big hole (as shown in the previous post's 2nd photo).

I spent too long figuring out Underware 2.0's myriad connection mechanisms. I decided on these hex screws and mating parts. And then I designed a special wrench for the screws, which is now on Printables. How's your rabbit hole going?

I'm jumping into the Underware rabbit hole. I printed some samples so I could decide which shades go together-- I decided to try a monochrome color scheme this time.
I guess this starts a build thread.

Todos tenemos un TOC. El que me ha estado comiendo por dentro desde hace años es el lío de cables que tenía detrás y debajo de la mesa del ordenador. Ya está solucionado. #underware
