    Netflix have released the poster for their mutant shark sequel Under Paris 2.

    The film, which has just started product and sees Alexandre Aja come onboard as director, will be released in 2027.

    I love Paris, and I always wanted to make a shark movie, so it was an obvious yes when the opportunity came to take the story even deeper

    The original film, directed by Xavier Gens, was Netflix’s most watched foreign language film.

    Bérénice Bejo and Nassim Lyes are both returning to star.

    Three years after the Paris triathlon disaster, the center of the Capital is submerged. Sophia (Bejo) and Adil (Lyes) reunite for a high-risk mission: to track Lilith, the original predator, in the shark-infested Seine. There, they will discover that the deadly wildlife hides a much more surprising reality.

    Calidad/tiempo: ⭐️⭐️

    Es exactamente lo que parece: una mala película. El guion, al principio coherente, va perdiendo credibilidad conforme avanza, llegando al absurdo absoluto en un final más cómico que trágico.
    Como punto positivo destaco los tiburones, bastante decentes para el bajo presupuesto, y las interpretaciones, salvables dentro de lo mala que es la cinta en general.

    There have been a spate of 'well-reviewed' movies on Netflix that aren't that good.

    Hitman felt formulaic and stiff - at times it felt like you were watching an old 'made-for-tv-movie' and the actors, although they had good chemistry, aren't given much to work with.

    Some rather questionable situational morality that felt rather tacked on.

    Secondly, the shark movie 'Under Paris' was just bad. I also didn't like how it painted Gen Z with an overly broad brush.
