Gabriel betreibt die Nihilistic-Webseite. Er muss ein riesengroßer Fan des 80er-Jahre-Metals und des 90er-Jahre-Deathmetals sein. Und dazu ein Underground-Metalfreak oberster Güteklasse.

Gabriel runs the Nihilistic - website. He must be a huge fan of 80s metal and 90s death metal. And on top of that, a top-notch underground metal fanatic.
When you land on the Nihilistic - website, your first impression is that an 80s fanzine has somehow survived into the present day. The design is old school, and the selection of bands and the topics covered on the website are equally old school.
This immediately appealed to me. You read reviews of bands with record deals or those with a DIY ethos. From the various musical shades of heavy metal or the very broad realm of extreme metal, Gabriel expertly presents the reader with a ton of great bands. Ich wage mich das erste Mal an eine Band aus dem Fediverse.
Danke an Thomas @[email protected]
der mich motiviert hat die Musik und die Kunstfertigkeit von The Maledict euch vorzustellen.
Und diese Band stellt sich in den engen Grenzen ihres Genre verdammt breit auf.
The Maledict spielen Deathmetal.
Seine Elemente wie Growling, Riffs, düstere Atmosphäre und nihilistische Lyriks spielt die Band kompetent aus.
Was die Band so hörenswert macht [und live garantiert die Meute zerstört] sind die klug komponierten Songs.
Deren Groove, die geschickt eingesetzte Tempiwechsel, der Mut zu längeren Songs und innerhalb der Alben verschiedene musikalischer Atmosphären zu gestalten machen die Alben zu Earcatcher.
Die Band aus Australien hat 5 Alben veröffentlicht.
