The #eclipse forecast was for heavy clouds (and that happened), so I set up a camera on my roof to record how dark it got in the neighborhood. I set the camera for 2 stops #overexposure, hoping there would still be some detail in the shots during totality...
Our eyes and brains can adjust to such a wide range of light and dark that I don't think we realize how very, very dark it gets.
