2023 also saw Yashiro play the quirky as Tsugaru in #undeadgirlmurderfarce. A man forced to be part-oni in 19th century Japan, Tsugaru finds himself joining an immortal and her maid to find the group who took her body - and cause chaos along the way. A unique performance to say the least, Yashiro utilizes elements of kabuki and rakugo into his voice to create a seeming fool who's got more up his sleeve than you'd expect.
Finally, Kurosawa played a quite different role this year as Aya from #undeadgirlmurderfarce. A... well, severed head trying to find the rest of her body, Aya takes her compatriots across Europe and solves several supernatural mysteries along the way. Kurosawa goes deeper than normal for Aya, portraying the existence of an immortal who finds herself more amused than not by the antics of those around her while still having a strong sense of morality.
watched #UndeadGirlMurderFarce and I am obsessed Crack Crack Crackle and got into Class:y through it so I'm thinking about it a lot also Tsugaru is exactly my brand of weirdo character so everything is aligning :)))

Finished #undeadgirlmurderfarce. Overall a really fun show; hope we get a Season 2.
This night is anime night ja ja ja
Finally caught up with #undeadgirlmurderfarce and it's so much goddamn fun, especially the arc that just ended. The combination of Victorian-era fantasy (including all the public domain characters), the constant twists and turns, and the dynamic direction and cinematography make for one hell of an #anime. Looking forward to the last arc.
Today's #AniAnimal is this angry cat from "Undead Girl Murder Farce". It was being accused of being a supernatural creature.
今日の #アニアニマル は『アンデッドガール・マーダーファルス』のこの怒っている猫です。この猫は怪物怪物として非難される。

One thing I appreciate about #UndeadGirlMurderFarce is that it feels thoroughly conscious of the detective co-protagonist's disability. You constantly get stuff like small shots of her assistant moving her a tad since she can't turn her head on her own. So far these details have also made the directing more engaging rather than feeling clumsy.
I've really enjoyed the series so far!

I am 1000% sure that an entire anime was just made because somebody came up with a clever way to commit vampire murder when they were like 14 and had been holding onto it until they got a chance to write a show.
My anime schedule for today:
Niehime to Kemono no Ou
Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon
Undead Girl Murder Farce
Shiro Seijo to Kuro Bokushi

- #zom100 has a great start for a zombie show
- #GenjitsuNoYohane is a surprisingly good quality yuri-feeling #lovelive show
- The new #Kenshin show is a good remake so far, if you're ok with ignoring the author's... indiscretions.
- #TheMasterfulCatisDepressedAgain is a surprisingly cute OL and cat show
- #UndeadGirlMurderFarce seems like it'll be an interesting supernatural shounen
- #SweetReincarnation is follows a standard isekai plot, and the twist is his sweet making history somehow makes him OP
I have no idea whats going on in #UndeadGirlMurderFarce but I love everything... the style, the soundtrack, animation. Good so far. #anime
#UndeadGirlMurderFarce's first episode was a bit of a slow start, but interesting directorial choices and off-beat characters make this a show to stay tuned to.
