Uncanny Magazine Issue 69 has been such a good one to read so far.
Anjali Sachdeva's Chimera, Theodora Goss's The Woman Who Stole Flowers, Sunwoo Jeong's Permanent Press, John Wiswell's Welcome to Heroism; all the stories have been really good.

I should note that I checked the fiction podcasts I most often listen to (#Podcastle #BeneathCeaselessSkies #UncannyMagazine) and couldn't find anything that seemed to match. My memory of the story has a very Podcastley feel, so maybe I didn't look far enough back. (I sometimes get rather behind in my listening.)

Want to know what a 14th century legal case has to teach us about storytelling? I reveal all in the latest issue of Uncanny Magazine. This is one of my favorite things I've had a chance to write recently, because I've always been obsessed with Chaucer as well as this period in British history. Also! You should buy a subscription to Uncanny! #chaucer #medieval #history #storytelling #uncannymagazine #peasantsrevolt https://www.uncannymagazine.com/article/what-a-fourteenth-century-legal-case-can-teach-us-about-storytelling/
