  38. It seems like very trivial news. It's not. Japanese eels (unagi) are freaking delicious, Japanese people love them and Japanese people are driving them to extinction because they're so delicious and - until now - impossible to breed in captivity.
    So, yes, this is important news to save the species (because don't count on Japanese people to stop eating them.)

    And on a side note, I haven't eaten a single one in 11 years, and I love them too, and yes, I miss eating them, so I'd be quite happy if I could eat them again.
