Ich lese, mal wieder 'Über Tyrannei' von Timothy Snyder, nach der Rede von Eco über die 14 Merkmale des Urfaschismus.
Es ist erschreckend und sollte Pflichtlektüre für jeden Demokraten und an Schulen sein. Gewählte Vertreter ein davon ausdrücklich nicht ausgenommen.
Es wühlt mich sehr auf und ich werde später etwas dem Eskapismus fröhnen, sonst halte ich das alles nicht mehr aus.

I just came across the family name Egal. In #German, #egal means whatever, #irrelevant.
A: "What shall we put in the record as their family name?"
B: "Ah, I dunno. Whatever".
A writes "Whatever".Now, if two Egals were to compete directly in something, would that constitute #ComparativeIrrelevance ? #UmbertoEco (RIP) would have had something to say about that, I'm sure.
