Years ago, I read a book by Umberto Eco that served as an introduction to semiotics; it takes things back even further.
But etymology is truly fascinating. In German (I’m a native speaker), for example, the word “Freiheit” (freedom) has its roots in “being with friends.” Exploring such echoes within language deepens our capacity for perception and expression.

Quando mi cimento con zozzerie come quella che #stoscrivendo in questo periodo mi torna in mente la #BustinaDiMinerva in cui #UmbertoEco fa l'esegesi del film porno, evidenziando come, poiché lo spettatore non può sostenere due ore di scene innominabili, questi film siano caratterizzati da riempitivi in cui gli attori si spostano in macchina, giungendo alle conclusione che un film è pornografico se per andare da un punto all'altro un attore impiega più di quanto lo spettatore tolleri.
