Discovery of the day is that version 3.3 of the SATA spec has repurposed a pin in the #SATA power connector as a reset line. Which is implemented on newer #Ultrastar drives. Older PSUs which put 3.3v on said pin effectively put the drive in a constant reset state and it won't spin up. I now need to sheepishly go and re-buy the drive I just returned to #CEX, I fear.

So a couple of weeks back I plugged https://melodymania.org/ here as a good karaoke-game for SteamDeck (and presumably PC).

And you know how it goes, you get into things and suddenly you've got 800 songs from 7 decades on the system but it's not enough and you what that SPECIFIC song which your kids are into at the moment, and it's not even available on https://ultrastar-es.org/en

Fear not! Som crafty fellow is developing a tool for automating much of the laborious work needed to create songs manually.

Und da die anderen noch pennen (Hey, es ist Wochenende, Lockdown, Alltagsanarchie, gestern Abend noch #Ultrastar, sollen sie doch ;-)) bzw. im Bett lesen und sowas, klemme ich mich als erste Quietschfidel des Tages erstmal hinter den Bass. Gibt ja grad nix zu tun.

Est-ce que il y en a parmi vous qui utilisent le jeu de karaoke #ultrastar sous Linux ? Est-ce que vous avez déjà eu le message d'erreur "Chansons introuvables" alors qu'elles sont bien dans le dossier "songs" prévu à cet effet ?
J'ai tenté d'ajouter ce dossier (qui est normalement celui par defaut) dans le fichier de config mais rien n'y fait. J'ai l'impression que c'est un problème de chargement des chansons au lancement du logiciel. Les autres fois, ça avait pourtant bien fonctionné...
