Extensive snowfall over Scotland and Wales but also over the NW Midlands, East Anglia and a narrow swathe from Gloucestershire to Sussex.

A sprinkling of snow here in the middle of the UK, just enough to look pretty but not enough to stop you slipping on the ice underneath.

Rosey's first snow day!

The snow started here yesterday evening so she got to potter in the yard in a few cm last night, but the real fun started today, with about 10-12cm on the grass in the fields.

She snaffled snowballs, stuck her head in drifts and crunched icicles.

Our previous dog Daisy LOVED the snow (our garden was full of doggy snow angels) so I'm glad that this one enjoying it too 😄

⚠️❄️ #MetOffice have issued an AMBER Warning for Snow & Ice in parts of #Conwy, #Denbighshire, #Flintshire and #Wrexham, 8am-3pm Thurs. Over high ground, 10-15cm snow is expected - possibly 20-25cm above 200m. Strong winds may lead to drifting. Also risk of freezing rain.

Lower areas may get 2-5cm, but not everywhere. This may fall as sleet or rain at times. As a result, Met Office have issued a Yellow Warning for Snow for the entire region, in effect between 6am Thurs and 6am Fri.

Visited Bodnant Gardens yesterday. Despite #snowing the entire time, it remained relatively warm, and I had a long wander. Torridon has has spectacular conditions in recent days. Deep soft snow from the glens up. It took several hours of hard trail-breaking to cross Beinn Alligin, but worth every moment.
