Have been trying to get my youngest daughter along to parkrun for ages, including the offer of some pretty substantial bribes. Nothing appeared to be working.

On the drive home from her football training last night, her friends had created a running group chat and decided to go to parkrun this morning, and suddenly all of her objections melted away.

I'll take it!

Nice to be back after a few weeks injured. Got quite a bit of catching up to do (25:30 something).

London Marathon ballot is open for 2027 and looks like they’ve finally confirmed the rumours/leaks they’re looking at doing a two-day event. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve missed out on the ballot so still not holding out too much hope 😞 #LondonMarathon #ukrunchat
