These gorgeous eggs were borrowed, with the exception of two that were gifted to me long ago.
Easter is far off, but the tradition of using pysanky eggs for holiday ornaments is still a practice among some people, and I love how wonderfully festive and appropriate some of these eggs are for the holidays. It's my goal in the new year to try my hand at some. For now I am enjoying photographing these to help honor this beautiful tradition that will be preserved in part with puzzles and photos- still beautiful to look at, and a fair bit less fragile for the littles, too.
