  1. Question for those currently or recently resident in the UK or otherwise familiar with the UK media:

    - Do social media like Xitter exercise a similar influence on British public opinion to that of tabloids in the 70s, 80s, and 90s?

  3. FYI: Smart TVs overtake computers as Britain's second podcast screen: 45% of UK monthly podcast consumers now watch on smart TVs, Signal Hill finds, with 84% already watching video - far ahead of the US at 62% and Canada at 75%. ppc.land/smart-tvs-overtake-co #SmartTVs #Podcasts #UKMedia #VideoStreaming #DigitalTrends

  5. Time to do a #Custerfuchs about people who have and act on personal narratives which are based around torture & murder of "others" and how the British media and establishment are currently engaging in reinforcing those narratives by projecting them onto "asylum seekers".

In a law court, knowledge that someone has those opinions would be considered evidence of "malice aforethought" or "premeditation".
Disseminating those opinions would be considered incitement and not "legitimate complaints" or "legitimate political discourse".

The essay is going to need a clever title.
    Something like
    "Nigel Farage is planning Genocide"
    or something like that.

  7. How dreadful to hear David Lammy (UK Foreign Secretary) sound like a robotic Keir Starmer and the rest of England's ruling class on the crushing historic legacy of ongoing #SociaInjustice, #IllegalOccupation and #WesternImperialism

Also, who decides who's allowed to have #NuclearWeapons?

Nobody should have them but why is it ok for the #US, #Israel, etc. to have them but not #Iran?

  9. @drg40

If you wait till things are in the present, you are no longer predicting, you are commentating

The #ukMedia is a big problem - if their behaviour was judged in the same way #unions are judged, we would have had an emergency #antiPressAbuse bill years ago.....

Some way of forcing #nonDom owners out of Fleet St is long overdue - those vultures pick at the carcasse of our society
