  2. The Good Law Project fighting the Government for the rights of Trans Kids on Terf Island.
Imagine the backroom manoeuvres there are in the chambers of UK Law against them.
"Don't rock that boat. Don't cause a scene. Fit in or fuck off!"

The quite and petty oppression of the British Isles.

I remember when the Brits were doing this to ALL Queer kids, Queer kids like me as it turned out.

  3. RE: todon.eu/@regendans/1170103346

The Labour Government would happily destroy the Criminal Justice system in this country just to protect another nation's genocide of peoples.

The UK State will never let us 'win', they can't lose face, even if it destroys them. I've seen it in every UKGOV scandal....

  4. "New PM Andy Burnham will be challenged on Thursday to drop the Governmentโ€™s efforts to keep the ban on Palestine Action which has so far seen thousands arrested "

but sadly the website is giving me "429 Too Many Requests"

  5. English judges are making it up as they go along.

โ€˜After last monthโ€™s verdicts the judge, Philip Parry, told the prosecution and the defence he intended to consider a โ€œterrorist connectionโ€ to the offending, despite neither the jury nor the defendants having previously been informed of the possibility.โ€™

  6. CW: "Survey: Masks, Protest, and Public Life" (UK)

"Survey: Masks, Protest, and Public Life

"This survey is open to all Clinically Vulnerable people, those in their families, and also people who wear masks in the UK. It asks about your experience of mask-wearing, the new protest law, and how these affect your daily life. Some questions ask about your health, or the health of a Clinically Vulnerable person in your household.

"What the new law does: From 29 June 2026, under the Crime and Policing Act 2026, police in England and Wales can designate an area around a protest for up to 24 hours (extendable to 48). Inside a designated area, wearing anything that conceals your identity โ€” including a face mask or respirator โ€” is a criminal offence, punishable by up to a month's imprisonment or a fine. There is a health provision, but it works as a defence, not an exemption: a person wearing a mask in a designated area commits the offence, and must then prove their health reason afterwards โ€” potentially after being stopped or arrested.

"It takes about 4 minutes to complete.

"Who is collecting this information: Clinically Vulnerable Families (CVF), registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller [ZB887575]."

I've done the survey! It genuinely didn't take very long.

  12. Duty of candour - Burnham hails Hillsborough law as โ€˜rewiring of the stateโ€™ as MPs approve bill theguardian.com/football/2026/
The public office (accountability) bill puts a duty of candour on public officials, meaning those who lie or evade during inquiries into tragedies would face prosecution. #UKpol #UKlaw

  13. #Wikipedia just dodged a bullet in the UK but is still in danger.
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedi

The bullet was the possibility of Category 1 classification under the UK Online Safety Act. It was spared that classification but remains on a "watch list" of platforms that "could become Category 1 at any point in the future."

If Wikipedia is later classified as Category 1, then either (1) contributors could no longer be pseudonymous or (2) Wikipedia would be subject to severe penalties under UK law.

How severe? The maximum penalty could include a fine up to ยฃ18 million, a UK-wide denial of access, and personal criminal liability for senior managers.
