#labours direction of travel is in that direction..... but: -

- #starmer will not make any specific commitment on #EU - he wants to win as big a majority as he can

- people grossly underestimate how long it will take - the EU will not treat with any #ukGovt at all on any sort of deal for quite some time - and labour will have to put any such putative deal in a #manifesto beforehand - but that will not be for the #nextGE but some later one
