  2. This has got to be one of my easier containers. Planted in lockdown, it’s had next to nothing done to it since. The crocus are over and the tulips have still to put in an appearance. What is unexpected are the two ribes that have suddenly appeared. I’m waiting to see if they flower before relocating them.

  3. I was taken to The Newt in Somerset recently. It's a garden I'd heard a lot about and it's long been on my 'must visit' list.

There's certainly plenty to see and huge distances to be walked - we chose the hottest day so far this year to visit!

    "Grow 'woolly' plants

Wool carder bees are one of the UK's largest #SolitaryBees , and they get their name from their practise of collecting hairs from plant leaves and stems, in order to build the cells within their nests. The plants you can grow to provide the 'wool' include #LambsEars (#Stachys) and #mullein (#Verbascum) species."

  5. My no-dig veg beds are finally getting properly established at Woodlands Hall. My soil is beautiful under the cardboard and compost mulch layer...and the Trifolium incarnatum looks gorgeous. Bumbles are very pleased with me too. #regenerative #organic #ukgardens #greenmanure #compostodon #nodig #vegetablegardening
