    On the way home we came across a lookout tower that we've not been up before. A small part of the motorway scale ring-road which was in this location until a couple of years ago has been preserved in place as a lookout tower.
    The road does still exist (unfortunately) but as it's in a tunnel it's mostly invisible to us unless we climb the tower.
    If anyone here ever came on one of the cycling study tours that we used to organise then I probably took them along here. At that time this was a pretty ugly place and we had to stop for two sets of traffic lights here, both of which are now gone.
