In your deleted first rant you were railing against the 'communists' who, according to you, deprived your family of everything nice.

Quick intro apparently needed: #CCP after 1970s is 'communist' in name only. After that murderous ship sailed the regime quickly switched to a hybrid #dictatorship model inspired by no other than #nazi #germany. It's now an #ethnonationalist dictatorship.

Creating 1800s era #Hongkong strawman to justify its repression of #Hongkongers for such a regime is a curious choice, for a #Canadian.
