The name Murder Cookies came about when the recipe was discovered when someone was researching a murder that took place in their home. Someone nicknamed them “Murder Cookies”, and the internet did the rest.

I haven’t done an #uglyadvice post in a minute, so here we go-baking with bananas!
When cooking with bananas, unless the recipe specifically calls for fresh ones, use overripe ones. As they ripen, starches are converted into sugars making the bananas sweeter. And hint-if you find a banana you have has gotten too ripe to eat, let it get even riper then put it in the freezer-they freeze incredibly well and you can take it out whenever you need.
