Last week, the Chilean ambassador in France visited the Centre de Recherche Astrophysique de Lyon (#UCBL, @ENSdeLyon, @CNRS_INSU). We presented our research activities and our implication in large instrumental projects on @esoastronomy's Chilean telescopes. We also discussed the major risk related to the possible construction of an industrial megaproject close to the chilean astronomical sites, which would strongly impact astronomical observations.

La semaine dernière, l'ambassadeur du Chili en France est venu visiter le Centre de Recherche Astrophysique de Lyon (#UCBL, @ENSdeLyon, @CNRS_INSU). Nous avons présenté nos activités de recherche et notre implication dans des grands projets instrumentaux sur les télescopes chiliens de @esoastronomy.
